🇱🇰 8 Days – Cultural Triangle to Coast
About This Experience
This is the route we build most often, because it doesn’t ask you to choose — you get the Cultural Triangle, the hills, a wildlife safari, and the south coast, all inside a comfortable eight days.
Things start in Sigiriya, home base for exploring the Cultural Triangle, including the sprawling ruins of Polonnaruwa. From there the route moves to Kandy for the Temple of the Tooth and the city’s cultural energy, then climbs into Nuwara Eliya and Ella — tea country, waterfalls, and some of the best mountain views on the island.
Next comes Yala National Park, where a proper safari gives you a real shot at spotting wild elephants and leopards in their own territory, not behind a fence. The trip winds down in Mirissa, where warm water and quiet beaches close things out.
If you only take one trip through Sri Lanka, this is usually the one people wish they’d booked.
